The Importance of Communication

This one is for the Men of Virtue. Men of God, silence is not golden. I know you don't want to hurt a woman's feelings. I want to set you free. You cannot stop hurt from happening, but you can mitigate the amount of hurt that happens. The way hurt is minimized is by communication. If a woman is doing something that bothers you, you're not interested, or you're seeing someone. Just tell them that. Because when men remain silent, they are communicating that the behavior being exhibited is acceptable. So if communication does not happen the consequences are on you! Sure it will sting a little to hear the guy you like is seeing someone else or not interested in you. However, It hurts a lot worse when guys remain silent, ghost, or avoid without explanation. Life cannot be lived without confrontation or communication. No communication, little communication, and miscommunication lead to the destruction of relationships. The Bible tells us to let our yes be yes and our no be no. Matthew 5:37. Do not be afraid to talk to the person in your life that you have an elephant in the room with. The fact is an issue can start of harmless and turn harmful when ignored. Here is what Philippians 2:3-6 says, 3 Do nothing out of rivalry or vanity; but, in humility, regard each other as better than yourselves — 4 look out for each other’s interests and not just for your own.

5 Let your attitude toward one another be governed by your being in union with the Messiah Yeshua:

6 Though he was in the form of God,he did not regard equality with God something to be possessed by force.

Adonai's example and command to look after each. This is especially crucial for matters of the heart.

Do everything in love and by the power of the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit).

Let's serve each other by communicating because no one is a mind reader. One cannot know another person that they never talk to. Assume nothing because assumptions always make a fool out of the assumer. Proverbs 4:4-9 tells us to get understanding. (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs+4%3A4-9&version=CJB)

So my dear Men of Virtue if you want to understand and to minimize hurt communication and confrontation are a must. Remember pain is inevitable but angst is optional. If you're dealing with a mature person they will be able to handle a conversation with you. If you're dealing with an immature person speak up anyway. Remember their response is not your weight to carry. You are only responsible for the message you deliver that's it. Go forth in Shalom and be fearless. Communicate in Yeshua's name. Men of Virtue you are amazing and we appreciate you and all that you do. Thanks for following Adonai and being His example to everyone around you!!!!!!
